DRL issue not addressed in other threads
2007 RX400h, 55k miles. New rubber went on yesterday, and replaced all five sensors (Lexus VIN confirmed/matched/etc). Great Michelins.
But the tire shop had some issues getting it all sync'd up, and eventually had it together. When I picked it up, the only issue we can find now is the DRL's are not working properly.
I leave the headlight switch in 'Auto' and it has always had DRLs on during the day. Checked the AFS switch - pushed it in (off), let it back out (on) a few times, no change.
If I place the light stalk switch in the 'dot' position, DRLs are on. But if I place it back in Auto where it has always been, no joy. No DRLs while in Auto.
Is there something we're missing? Or is it dealer-only for a scan/reset of something else that might have been changed when tire shop used its scan tool for the sensors?
Thanks.
