Default CEL and VSC lit up

I've had my 2007 RX350 for 35 days now and the CEL and VSC lights are lit up. I took it to Autozone to have the codes read. It had a bunch of codes C1201-ECS 1223-abs brake, C1241-battery. But the one I think is the problem is P2195-O2 sensor. I think it was listed 7 times.

This weekend I will disconnect the battery to reset the codes and see if it comes back on. I found a couple nice threads regarding O2 sensor so if the light comes back on I will give it a try myself. I haven't worked on my own cars for years but now that we will have a few new drivers in hour house over the next few years I am thinking of going back to doing all of my own maintenance.

This is such a great forum and I really appreciate all of the advice I have gotten so far.

How old is your car's battery?

If you are going to replace the oxygen sensor make sure to use denso, also I've seen many cases where the wires on the O2 sensor was broken causing all sorts of error codes.

I looked again and the previous owner had this code on 4/18/2014 and they replaced the bank1/sensor1 sensor. I kind of doubt the sensor is bad again?

I looked and the battery and alternator assembly were replaced 10/16/2013. so the battery isn't that old.

I just disconnected the negative terminal and cleared the lights. I will drive it and see if it comes back. The only other thing is my first 2 tanks were mid-grade and was getting 15 then 16 mpg. I just filled with premium the other day. The engine was running a bit rough when in reverse first thing in the morning. But it was fine after it warmed up. I figured it was just the cold.

I'll see if the codes come back.

15-16 mpg is not uncommon in stop and go and city driving. We only see over 20 on the highway.

How many miles on it?

We are in the suburbs so a little stop and go and then some more open areas. I was hoping for better than 15mpg but the weather has been colder too. I have a feeling it will get better.

It has 106K miles. I drove for 3-4 miles and the light came back on while I was cruising at 55mph. I will have to start looking at the MAF and air filter first. Then maybe consider the O2 sensor. Seems too soon to need replacing though. I won't replace that until it warms up around here anyways.

The CEL code you got is for bank 1 so is it possible the previous owner info was wrong. All the other lights come on as a result of the CEL (the car is smart and kills other functions cause it knows the engine isn't right). I takes several runs of the engine up to temp to trigger the CEL, so when you reset by disconnecting the battery it will not come back on right away.
