Default flapping noise from the back on high speeds

Found the culprit.

Thought it was another AC flap that is playing up but it was the small plastic flap next to the tyre that was giving me the headache.

Still, could not find the rattle at the rear which i think is caused by the underfloor storage compartments. Thats for another day.

Perhaps it's the same underbody noise I encountered last year. Here's the post (it worked for me):

Found what has been rattling - I checked what you said. Yes the cover was indeed loose but it was not the rattle but the tailgate latch! I found this because I accidentally bumped into the tail gate when it was closed and it made the rattle. That instant I knew what has to be done.

I wrapped insulating tape on the metal hook on the body where the tailgate gets latched onto and viola! silent as a mouse now.

I think I have the same problem with a flapping noise. I can't tell from the photo...is the loose part on the leading (Front) of the wheel well?

Check mid way under the drivers side and rear passenger side.

Yeah thats the front of the rear left side wheel im pointing to.

the nut holding up the right side end (one into the wheel well) of the flap had somehow dislodged it self and fallen off. I removed the other nut (which im pointing to) and used it on the inwards edge. all sorted.
