'07 RX350 - Check Engine Light, VSC, TRAC OFF
Last week our Lexus had a few of the warning lights pop up, specifically Check Engine, VSC, and TRAC OFF. When I tried to look it up online, I found suggestions to take it to AutoZone to get the error codes read, so I did that and got 2 back: P0441 and P0455.
I saw that it might be something as simple as the gas cap not being screwed on correctly. If that was the case, would there be some way to check if I fixed it? Would the lights clear themselves after some time or after driving a certain amount? I don't have the tool to clear it, and saw some suggestions not to unhook the battery for an '07 Lexus. Is there anything else I could try to clear the issue myself before having to take it to a mechanic? I'm not the most car-savvy person admittedly, but if there's something simpler I would love to try it before blowing money on repairs.
Would really appreciate any advice.

Some 2007 – 2008 model year North American produced (NAP) RX 350 vehicles may exhibit a
M.I.L. “ON” condition with one or more of the following Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs):
• P0441 – Evaporative Emission Control System Incorrect Purge Flow
• P0455 – Evaporative Emission Control System Leak Detected (Gross Leak)
• P0456 – Evaporative Emission Control System Leak Detected (Very Small Leak)
An improved fuel filler pipe has been developed to address this condition.

Had this same issue crop up on my '07. Mechanic says that it's the filler neck and is quoting just under $1000 to get it replaced. He said that although it wouldn't affect the car's ability to run, it won't pass smog and I may have to hold the gas pump handle down in the future.
Thoughts? Everything I've read generally points towards a bad gasket or an O2 sensor, so don't want to shell out a grand for something if it's not going to fix the initial problem.

So $1000 seemed ridiculous to me, especially since they were going with an OEM part. Found the filler neck for $80 on Rockauto and bought that and they'll be putting it on.
However, the VSC and check engine light both turned off after getting the car back from the shop. Should I even go forward with the repair? Car doesn't seem to be affected by anything and don't really want to drop a few hundred on an unnecessary repair...
