Backup camera dead
My wife's 2004 RX330's backup camera is dead, I found the wire and disconnected it (get "noise") as expected. My question is this, there are 4 wires going to that camera, can I replace it with an aftermarket "off the shelf" camera, is the power 12v and a standard NTSC out? I would replace it with the OEM, but I'm having trouble finding one and when I do... OUCH the price is ridiculous

tfitzgex, did you ever get this figured out? My wife has a 2008 RX and her backup camera is having intermittent issues. I just saw what she has been talking about for the first time tonight. It was nearly a black screen and you couldn't see anything, got it home and it works fine. I'd like to have a camera that has better (updated) quality rather than going with an OEM one. Let me know if you found a fix for yours.
