Battery Wrap
I do not remember if our batteries had a casing. I probably dumped it if ever there was one. The case serves a purpose, for heat and cold.
It was a slow labor day, I wrapped my battery with an insulator to help with the heat and the cold during winter. Took the time to clean up the terminals and make sure none of the acid can hit the posts:

Home Depot. Pretty cheap too. Go to the AC section. Also you will need t get Aluminum Duct Tape as well. They do stick pretty good.
