Default Just bought radio upgrade

Just purchased a 08 rx350. Basic cd/radio. I want to upgrade with bluetooth/backup camera and possibly navigation. Anyone with experience. What brands etc.
Thank you

Crutchfield.com might have what you're looking for. An '08 is still pretty new for aftermarket.

I installed an aftermarket Kenwood. Here is a link (I hope it works) to my thread when I was installing mine

I also recommend Crutchfield.

I just replaced the factory CD changer in my 2008 with a Pioneer touchscreen unit. I already had a nice stand-alone Garmin Navi unit, so I didn't need a head unit with nave built in, but I also wanted bluetooth, back-up camera, etc... The Crutchfield rep helped me find a Pioneer unit that had all the features I wanted, sans navigation.

I just installed the head unit and PAC TATO Wiring Interface. The back-up camera will have to wait, as will the iDatalink Maestro ADS-MSW Steering Wheel Control Adapter.

It didn't take me very long to replace the factory unit, so if you have done stuff like this before it should take no more than an hour or two, tops.

The same I guess? The fade and balance and whatnot work like they are supposed to with the adapter. I don't know if it sound better or not.

One thing to note: The instructions on the adapter says to turn the radio up to 3/4 volume before removing, but I didn't do this. So to compensate I used the adapter's ability to increase DBs. Next time I feel like messing with the radio (whenever I decide to do the steering wheel/backup camer) I might put the factory one back in just to fix that.

Thanks for the inputs.. Does anyone have a picture of an upgraded/aftermarket install? Looks to me that the entire lower part of the dash/radio area would need to be changed to accommodate one of the big Kenwood or other multi feature radios. Mine is silver and do the radio kits come with a matching replacement panel?
Thanks

Carver is referring to the links just above the photo of his car. That link to the Kenwood DNX6960 is the same as I gave in post #3.
