Default RX330 Navigation Screen Flicker

Hey guys, need some troubleshooting on an '04 RX330 navi glitch. The screen has been flickering for a while now. Only the trip menu works but that flickers occasionally as well. Do you guys think it has something to do with loose wiring? Here's a video. Thanks in advance!

Welcome to Club Lexus, ch1ldxtc! I wonder if it is a bad DVD perhaps. I don't have nav on mine, so this is kind of a shot in the dark, but if the menus and backup cam are fine, I would think the wires would be ok?

I think it may be a component of the display beginning to fail. Perhaps a bad capacitor. I'd expect it to degrade further.

Any updates? My screen is flickering too but only on the map display. I don't feel it's the screen itself failing, at least in my case.

Default Screen Problems

If you take a look at the 2nd Gen IS section. Their Nav display is notorious for being and going bad. Maybe one of the threads will give you some useful pointers at what to look for.

Good luck

Default Nav Flicker After Evap Replacement

I am having this same issue. However, this only came up after I replaced my wife's evaporator coil. I new doing all of that work something was likely to go wrong. But I was really just anticipating an annoying rattling sound because I miss routed a cable, not this...

It would be great if someone knows which connection behind the nav screen is responsible for this issue. I will try to figure it out soon but if anyone knows please post it.
