All these RX's having issues... where were your cars made?
I come to the 2nd gen RX forum and see all these little issues..
I believe there were 2 countries of origin for these rx330/350 SUVs.. .Canada and Japan..
are the Canadian cars having more issues?
Our 400h is made in Japan, and no issues so far in 100k+ miles.. aside from the bad OEM tire wear..
I am talking about door issue, electrical issues, a/c issues, TPMS, radio, NAV camera, etc..
not really talking about tires or something that's very wear and tear...

If I'm not mistaken, all of the 400h's are made in Japan (along with Toyota Hilanders)

Is what it is right? I knew my comment would get a rise out of some of you. The Canadian assembled RX`s are the same as the one`s assembled in Japan. But you people with the Japan badged RX`s seem to think they are superior for some reason.

I merely wanted see if the country of origin is corrolated to the probability of non-wear and tear issues...
I thought it was a valid poll, but I guess I hit a nerve with all of you..

wow... can you name ONE person that mentioned the Japanese-built cars are superior? I do not see one...

It is overall reliable, but it seems to suffer from MINOR quality issues (not much mechanical).
that's all.. just a honest poll for PERSONAL understanding...
p.s. i was hoping for at least 100 votes, but i guess there's not enough active posters in this forum..

i agree.. I just wanted to see if it's true or false.. and it seems like the second-gen RX platform is a great car to SOMEWHAT debunk or prove that theory since it's one of the few cars that's made in TWO countries..
