CD changer - Error 4
before i start i searched..
i got an error 4 on my cd changer and now it will not eject or play cds. ( it worked for for the past 2 months and just happened this past week) anyway i have tried everything in the posts that i found but nothing seems to work and the CD player is now useless
i don't feel like going to the dealer and paying an arm and a leg to get them to fix this or buying a replacement stock unit for 400+ dollars with the possibility of this happening again. so here is my question...
anyone know if i can remove it and try to eject the disks myself? and how?
if not i would rather go with an after market replacement unit... i already have Nav in the RX so nav is not important but i am looking for reconfirmations for after market units at a reasonable price.. any suggestions are welcome.
thanks

Mine did the same thing and after about two weeks, it started working again. Without a warranty, I simply popped all of the discs out and listen to Sirius/XM now. A cassette adapter and an MP3 player do a nice job as well.
