Well it's probably better to start off from scratch in some cases.. i've got the ML and tbh it's a bit meh in some areas. Front stage is nice and crisp but there's no sub-bass anywhere, and it's terribly unbalanced to the front. Good starting platform for adding a decent set of three way splits, and a nice tight sub in the boot.. but they don't make integration easy with the headunit not having rca outputs. Better off doing what you've done, get a nice h/u with front/rear/sub rca's and with the added bonus you don't need to screw around with ipod adapters, nav overrides etc.

Yeah the Kenwood I got was because I have LCD head rest monitors coming in from Japan and needed a good source to get all my stereo stuff done.

This was the enclosure made for my last car. I am re-purposing it for my RX. Not for daily but just to install for shows. It's a three piece so I can put it in and take it out easy.

Might keep the black or go light grey leather. Put in decent subs and better amps.

So not today, but in the future

The Kenwood looks nice! You're adding stuff so fast I only get to ooh and ah about every third mod.

It's kind of how I do it at times. There are events and time constraints as well.

Would you happen to have a link? Are they on sale online or just at the dealership?

Check the sponsor area for a link to their specials. They were still on sale as of a week or so ago.

Here ya go... Let the mods begin... Figured I would add a few pics of the shaved roof rack... Spark plugs are next then springs and struts. Still looking for good rim options... Black chrome might be cool...
