Can't remove Oil Maintenance Required Light
2010 LExus RX 350. Recently had my oil changed (not at Lexus) and I can't get the "Oil Maintenance Required" message off the screen in my dash. I read the manual and followed directions to the T and it does not work. Is it possible they made a mistake in the manual? Can someone please give me step by step instructions on how to remove this message?

Here's the procedure I follow on my RX330. In fact, I just did the oil change this past weekend and literally just reset the light a minute ago:
- ignition key to the "OFF" position;
- Turn the ignition key to the "ON" position while holding down the "ODO/TRIP" button;
- Hold down the button while the mileage display turns into a series of dashes, watch the dashes slowly disappear;
- Once the odometer indicates "000000" and the light goes off, release the "ODO/TRIP" button;
I hope this helps.

Thank you all. This also works on 2010 SC430: Place odometer to total miles driven. Turn ignition off. Hold "trip/odometer" button in while turning ignition on. Dashes appear in trip box which gradually disappear. When dashes are gone, maintenance required light will stay off.

ODO reset and TRIP not working
Hi All, dash was replaced couple of years ago under recall by dealer. Afterwards I was unable to control passenger windows rolling down, setting seat position, resetting maintenance required, and dimming nav screen to night view. Trip ODO also was not accessible. I have since (thanks to YouTube) been able to reset windows and seat position control, which gave me hope about the ODO problem. I have followed the steps to reset maintenance required, holding button down with ignition off, then turning ignition on. I've held it down from around 5 seconds to 30 seconds in multiple attempts with no luck. Anyone have a solution or thought as to what is going on? Many thanks!
