Bought a RX 330, anything I need to check?
Recently purchased an 2004 RX 330 (Charcoal/Grey), sold my 300 which I had for six months, but didn't like the color (Gold/Tan). Know its a maybe a dumb reason, but really also do love the better styling of the 330, its somewhat larger size, and other refinements. Have to say, as a former BMW owner (99 740il) and needing an SUV for the kids, I'm very impressed with the Lexus.
Really easy to sell the 300, took about a week on craigslist, and got 2K more than the dealer wanted to pay. It helped I'm sure that it was in mint condition, the former owner really took good care of it.
One thing I have noticed is the road noise is much higher than the 300, probably due to the 18" wheels and Bridgestone Dueler tires, which I'll probably replace with Michelin Energy or similar tires.
Anything I need to look out for or get checked out by the dealer for the 330? I'm thinking of taking it in to have a overall check, and any TSB's I need to have them look at?
Thanks!
