Green illuminated dot on gear shift panel
does anyone know what this green illuminated dot on gear shift panel is for? It's to the left of the 3.

I think its some light leaking out from the edge of the panel, possibly?

My '08 AWD does not have it. Should I take it to a dealer and demand they drill a tiny hole in the trim?

Must be a "recording" indicator. You must have a video camera hidden in there somewhere.

PHEW!!! and I thought that the previous owner was Predator, and that was just some tried blood from a paper cut he got...
