Thumbs up I love my RX350

Got my RX back in February and the only issue I had was a dash board rattle. I wanted the dealer to take the dash apart and find the rattle and stop it. The salesman suggested that sometimes these rattles work them selves out but to wait at least until my first 5000 mile oil change. I had the free oil service done back in October and decided not to have the dash ripped out because most of my passengers never could hear the rattle or if they did said it was so small they would not risk having major problems over something so insignificant. I guess i was just a little **** as now I don't hear the rattle at all. I'm either getting deaf or it really has settled in. I have about 6500 miles on my RX and have taken a couple of road trips in it and it rides like a "Cadillac" Can I say that here ? Anyway I read post about how bad folks think their RX is and I can just tell you that buying my RX was the right choice. It has carried all of my hunting gear, dogs, gardening stuff, groceries, runs to the Goodwill and my golf clubs and pull cart all in comfort and style. I get good gas mileage for an SUV 19-20 city and 24-26 hwy. I am a happy camper and just wanted to pass it on.

If you only knew how much felt is used all over the dashboard are and across the car, you would flip. Yes the felt is a necessary expense to make sure matching-touching surfaces do not squeak. It is just part of the process. You have different materials contacting each other and it is guaranteed to squeak or make a noise.
