Default Cold weather and interior panel rattles

I had noticed more rattles in our RX as temperatures gotten colder. Is this normal?

Yes, all cars are like that. Material contract when cold, leaving more room for rattles.

Well, some cars do. My ES350 rattles pretty bad in the cold. My wife's Pilot is solid in the cold.

I am driving an RX loaner today and I am impressed on how quiet it is (no rattles)

My 2005 RX330 Thundercloud even on the -10 to -20 deg. days doesn't rattle or creak except maybe for just a bit until it warms up after sitting out for 8 to 10 hours at work. Once it warms up a bit it quiet as usual. It is garaged overnight but my garage isn't heated but usually stays in the 30's except when the temps drop off to the minus 0 range for a few days. In fact the forcast for tonight is -16 for a low with the high for tomorrow around 2 deg. above then falling to the -20 degree range for lows for the next couple nights with highs around -5. Like I said the RX might have a couple rattles until it warms up after about 10 to 15 minutes. And people wonder why we get auto starts for our vehicles.

2005 RX330 Thundercloud, Thundercloud Metallic.
