When our 04 RX330 FWD was all stock and we lived about 25 miles from work, we would normally get about 22 MPG with about 70% Highway driving. Typically we would fill up about 15 gallons at about 330 miles to the tank and with about 30-50 miles left on the range meter. After a fill up the range meter would read about 385-395 miles.
After I added 20" rims, my MPG went down to about 20 MPG.
When our state mandated the use of E10, my MPG went down to about 18 MPG with the 20" rims.
When we moved about 2.5 miles away from work, with the same 20" rims and E10 gas, driving in about 85% City, the gas milage went down to about 15-16 MPG. It's amazing how much city driving eats up gas.

With my '06 330 AWD, I get ~20 a gallon with bay area freeway/local driving. I usually fill the car up when it hits 330 total miles, and the gas warning light still haven't turned on.

At about a 70% highway 30% backroads split and an average highway speed of 70 MPH and backroad speed of 45 MPH, I see just over 21 MPG. On an AWD SUV, I am very pleased with these results.

On long trips we have seen as high as 26+ with our 05 (AWD), normally expect around 24 on the road, and about 18 in town. Did one really long trip, two weeks and 4,600+ miles, we had an average of 23.6 for the entire trip. A lot of that driving was in the Rocky Mountains, and at fairly high altitudes. Was not unusual to be cruising at 85+ MPH in the more remote sections. With the cold weather here and the re-formulated 'winter grade' fuel, we have dropped to about 16/17 around town and 23 on a recent trip over the Cascade mountains.

Aloha everyone,
Each time I take my new RX350 out, I see a different value for the average MPG, which I take is the average MPG for that particular drive. I've only had my RX since Monday, but with about 50/50 driving, I'm a bit over 19 MPG now. I expect that to increase a bit, as my average was just under 21 MPG in my 2002 RX300 and I've only had my current RX350 for what is now the 4th day
I'm really stoked about it - this is light years better than my former RX, and I thought it was the best! I'm having fun getting used to the Nav system and included Bluetooth. I'll post more updates on gas mileage later.

Like to hear what you get on the way back north.
In April I drove from FL to Pittsburgh, to Philly and then back to FL. The further north I got into the hills and had to use E10 fuel the gas mileage on my '04 RX330 steadily dropped. On the way home it was just the opposite. The brand of gas was always the same -- BP.
