Yeah 5 quarts. What screwed me up is I couldn't find it in the manual, so I searched online and found a write up from CarandDriver that said 5.8 quarts.

Using 5W30 would be the preferred for your part of the country and especially if you are sticking with dino oil. If you lived further north I might recommend a 0W30. You can try 5W20, but you might want to use a full synthetic if you go that route.
