2008 RX350 LED Turn signal mirror lens

I'm interested also, I wonder if any other Toyota or Lexus models will fit on the RX mirror arm or base with outside turn signals, heat and puddle lamps. I installed OEM Toyota 4runner mirrors on my Tacoma with signals, heat and puddle lamps, worked out great, ran some extra wires for the signals and heat and used a Toyota Highlander switch in the dash.

Before you do any type of light modification, it has to be homogenous according to US DOT specifications and then you can start to tinker with design. You don't want to modify your lights because you'll stand out in a way that is not standard and this can be a safety issue. For instance, ull see those cars that have a blinking center tail light when they brake. WTF does that even mean to the driver behind them?
Theres a reason why these lights did not come standard on US spec'd RX's.

As for the flashing brake lights, their intended function is to indicate the driver is applying the brakes in an emergency fashion. It's a great idea, and one the US needs to reconsider. They indicate to drivers behind to pay attention, and apply the brakes pronto. This feature could be life-saving in certain weather condition with less than ideal visibility. The US is far behind in many aspects regarding what the DOT allows for safety systems compared to many other countries.

Tons of other vehicles have these very features available, on US-spec vehicles, and these would be nothing different compared to them. Whatever reason Toyota/Lexus had for their omission has nothing to do with US DOT, but most likely penny pinching.
