Looking for DIY on fuel injectors

Welcome to Club Lexus.
I have moved your post to its own thread. Please check the list of DIY .. that is an index of all DIYs, Personally I do not recall any DIY on injectors. Scan through them and any diy that involves taking off the components from the top should take you 3/4 of the way.
I assume you want to replace them (servicing requires special equipment).
Investing in the factory service manual is worth it weight in gold.

You can find affordable fuel injectors on rockauto.com Check the GB ReManufacturing brand. They are $28 each and make it affordable to replace all and have matching flow rates. If you want to have yours cleaned and checked, I have used Witchhunter.com before and liked their service and they have a great turn time and priced at $22 each. http://witchhunter.com/
If you look for the DIY on replacing the rear valve cover, that will get you down to the injectors. Once you can access the injectors, its imperative that you twist the injectors before and as you pull them out. The O-rings will stick to the intake and the injector. If there is no o-ring on the injector, you need to carefully remove it from the intake. They will be brittle so be careful. You may want to spray a little WD40 on the O-rings before removing them. If you do use WD40, clean it all out with carb cleaner before you install the new injectors. The new O-rings should be coated in Vaseline petroleum jelly to let them slide in without binding.
After you do one, it will make sense and be easy after that.
