RX300 2001 pvc and pcv?
I am confuse what is PVC and PCV? can someone clarify on these parts?
thank you
The reason I am asking is that when I replace my timing belt I replace the PCV which is make out or brass, and now I am ready to replace the cover gasket and other recommendation to replace the PVC is plastic and the grommet is rubber.
thank you

In combustion engine there is only one term "PCV".
PVC is for plastic piping.
99 model had a PCV pushed into a rubber grommet in the bank1 valve cover.
Some time later it was replaced by a metal thread type.
The hose got changed as well to fit over the metal PCV.
