Default loose wire in engine compartment

Hi Forum

I noticed that there is loose wire in my engine compartment that should be screwed into something.

Any ideas?

Some one forgot to bolt this down.

Did you get timing belt work done recently?

Can you share year and model? I could not see that on my 99 RX.

Easy fix, remove that bolt for the engine mount and put this connecter through that bolt.

According to the sticker, his timing belt was changed in 2012.

I was able to bolt it back in where it belonged, right under the engine mount bolt like you said.

Cheers

Is it just a fancy ground wire for some sort of noise suppression? Doesn't seem to be doing anything significant.
