RX300 2001 MAF Test
#2
Very simple, all you do wile the car is running open the hood and disconnect the wire harness that's connected to the MAF sensor, if the car starts to idle funny or tries to die the sensor is good, but if the cars idle dose not change or it doesn't run different when the sensor is unplugged it's dead. If the MAF sensor is still good I would suggest going to the auto parts store and ask for a can of MAF sensor cleaner, it's a special spray only for that application. All you do is spray it a couple of times and it's good to go, usually they are all dirty so a good cleaning wouldn't hurt, good luck!
