Default is the emergency hazard light switch supposed to light up in the dark?
is the emergency hazard light swich supposed to light up in the dark? mine doesn't light up,
but then again, I can't remember if it ever did.

I took the wood trim off and it doesn't look like there's anything user-replaceable, other than the hazard light switch itself.... I still can't figure out if it ever did light up or not.

anybody knows if it's possible to replace the light bulb or does the whole switch have to be replaced?

Default new bulbs part # 272-1092
Mine does not light up, I went to Radio Shack store bought a package (2 tiny bulbs) $1.99 part # 272-1092
it works like a charm .

Hello - do you happen to have a step-by-step instruction on how to replace the bulb? I ordered the OEM bulb through my local Lexus dealer. Thanks for your help!
