Default What Brand Fuel Injector Cleaner If Any Do You Use?

Hello Everyone,

I have a 2000 RX with about 140K. Depending upon when I remember (approximately 2 - 3 times per year), I try to use a bottle of either the Chevron ProGuard with Techron, regular Chevron Techron or Sea Foam. Recently at the autoparts store, the cashier was pushing the Lucas Oil brand that was currently on sale. Have any of you used the Lucas product (or any other) and are pleased with their performance?

Thanks!

I've used the Lucas Fuel Treatment, which cleans the injectors and I believe also lubricates the upper cylinder. It works pretty well, but from what I understand the Chevron Concentrated Cleaner works much better.

If I really want to clean them I use this.

If I want to just do some maintainence, I put 1/2 can of seafoam in the intake and slam the other 1/2 of the can in the gas tank

I use the Lucas on a regular basis, because I get it for $2.33 a bottle where I work. And then every other oil change I throw a can of seafoam to a full tank.

Thanks everyone for your input and the Costco lead.... Sounds like I am in line with the majority who use Chevron Techron most of the time.

The sea is a good place for Seafoam.... either there or the garbage can, but not your poor car. Doesn't it have enough troubles of it's own?

The one I keep favoring is Redline's Fuel System Cleaner,

I seem to find this in Pep Boys and not the other auto parts stores, but I do buy it online at Amazon, too.

I have always used BG44. I've been happy so far.
