What is the going rate for replacing a master cylinder on a 2002 RX 300? We purchased the RX less than 30 days ago from a small dealership. It has 71k. The dealer gave us a 30 day warranty for 50% or repairs. So they are saying we have to pay 50% of $304 which is their dealer cost for repair....so we are paying $152. Is $304 a good deal? I would imagine this repair at Lexus would be considerably more.

I think you are right. $152 sounds like a very good deal to me. A Lexus dealer gets that much to just flush the brake fluid around here.

Yes, I think if the job was done right; that is a good deal.
