Rx300 leaking headlights
I recently noticed condensation & staining inside my headlight lenses, which has now progressed to an obvious water leak which occurs in the rain.
I should mention that my front bumper was recently replaced, though I don't think that this is related to the problem.
I've seen DIY threads about cleaning the lenses, which instruct how to remove the lens, but they all leave out how to replace the lens onto the housing.
It seems that the lens can be removed by heating the headlight assembly, but how do you then replace the lens? Do you have to remove all the old sealer? If so, what do you replace it with to reseal?
Is it possible to just run a bead of silicone around the entire lens/housing junction, without bothering to dis-assemble the whole thing? (thus not bothering to clean the lens).
Any suggestions will be appreciated
