Default Ignition

There is a yellow wire that is attached to a small black box on the ignition that I have no Idea where it plugs in can someone tell me what it is and where it goes?

If allow me to guess, it is the immobilizer pickup. It needs to make its way to the harness in the steering column which goes to the body harness on its way to the ECU.

If it was going to the middle of the steering wheel it can be the air bag ignitor.

Yellow jacket or red jacket at typically safety/security wires.
