Nope, you need to kind of eye-ball them based on the locations of the holes on the spoiler. Or just use some 3M double sided tape, pray, and avoid automatic carwashes...

As far as i can tell, there's only one bolt per side? I just took a pic of my tailgate opened up.

Just did mine a few weeks ago. It's 2 bolts on the top and 2 plastic pop rivets on the bottom. I masked the areas to prevent any scratches placed 4 pieces of putty on the decklid then press the spoiler in place. Measure the distance to make sure it was close and started drilling. It worked out perfect.

I am interested in getting a spoiler as well. Where did you get yours and how much did it cost? Were you able to get it painted so that you only had to install?

I found mine at a junk yard $100. Had it painted with the lower body so I am not sure of the price. The hardware 2 bolts and the plastic rivets were about $10 from Lexus.

ok so i got a used 01+ spoiler. called the nearest dealer and was told there is 2 types for that spoiler 1. oem factory 2. oem dealer accessory add on. both spoilers have 1 threaded hole on the top and double sided tape rest pads but the oem factory has push clips (like interior panels) where as the oem add on has rivets. i have the oem factory since the spoiler is used.

now my questions are. how hard is it to paint golden pearl 057 and how much should i expect to pay?
when installing it looks like i will need a rectangle hole for the clip. shoud i discard the clips and use only the 2 bolts and tape pads? or how would i make this hole?

anyone have pics of the clip portion going through the body?

give the spoiler to an auto-body shop and have them paint and install it. Should cost around $300-$500 for the whole thing.

To just paint it, probably $100-$200...

ok so after a month of sitting on this spoiler and multiple quotes of 200-650!! i decided to take matters into my own hands. i had paint mixed at a local auto color supplier and borrowed a spray gun from a guy at work. since the spoiler was used i had to remove the old adhesive pads, sand and fill scratches and prime first. i bought new hardware from lexus and used carbon tracing paper to make a template for the holes to cut.
once that was done i sprayed the spoiler. after 2 failed sprays (nozzle clogging, uneven paint) i got it. then i applied the clear and wetsanded and buffed. i have painted a few small items before so its not totally new to me. install was easy. 2 bolts, 2 clips, adhesive pads and some urethane sealant for a little added hold. overall i think it turned out well. total cost $122.53 for everything! pics later today
