2000 RX300 both side mirrors stolen!
Both side mirrors (Dim/Heated) were stolen off my 2000 RX300.
Did some searching for the replacements, and looks like they want $329.70 a piece! are they that expensive
This is the part number they me (don't know if this is correct)
R/s mirror glass 87901-48010
L/s mirror glass 87906-48010
Example I was left with this below
But i need this housing with the mirror (Don't mind the highlighted circles)

The real kicker is that i went back to my CCTV video recorder, and you see the guy rolling up & walking on my property with a towel or white shirt covering the lower part of his face. this guy is so lucky my oldest Bullmastif past away a few months ago. he would of had a feast!
Here is a example of a fully grown Bullmastif!

My wife hit a construction stantion with her ES300, broke the mirror stalk and all. I found a couple of junk parts sites online and got a perfect mirror, wrong color, for, I think, 75 bucks including UPS. We have a paint store in the Phoenix area that will mix perfect paint matches and sell spray cans of it. I think, like hers, my RX would require removing the door panel because the plug goes inside. I sprayed the new mirror after masking it, sprayed on clear coat, and our Toyota dealer installed the mirror while changing out her timing belt for only 20 bucks labor. You can't tell it wal replaced.

You can buy the (non-dimming) heated mirrors from Sewell for $65 (w/ clublexus discount) each. The electrical connections are different so the heating element won't work, but at least you have mirrors then. Avoid the cheap ebay ones as they do not have the clips to attach securely to the housing. I just replaced my dimming mirrors bec. they were too dark. I guess the dimming part on these things fails. If these were your original mirrors, they are probably going to go bad soon anyways.
