gazi001, here is another diagram that might help you find a telephone mute pin/wire if you cannot locate a connector containing a mute that was meant for a dealer installed Lexus phone.
One of the connectors at the audio system amplifier should contain the same violet color mute wire contained on the telephone system connector that would have plugged into the telephone ECU if your car had one of those.
If you look at the audio system diagram I posted earlier on this thread, you will see that the violet telephone mute wire is labeled "TMUT" at the amplifier. "TMUT" = "telephone mute".
You should be able to verify the TMUT pin/wire at the amplifier by using a grounded unpowered test light per the photo I posted earlier. When you touch the TMUT pin on the amplifier with the test light's probe, your radio and CD should mute.
If fact, once you locate the amplifier and the TMUT pin, you might be able to follow the cables and find the telephone connector that sleepybobcat found.

Sorry Jim this is not harnesse cable holder. It's a rear passenger side stop light power cable connector. I found it last sunday when i re-open the whole trims and trunk for exploring again for mute connection in the trunk. It took me few hours. Here is the pics again.

Now finaly i got the conclusion for mute wire in the trunk for 2000 RX 300 without navigation is not there. I guess only 2001 or higher models may be the mute connection in the trunk. I open all the trims right and left, remove the spare tire, open the back seat trim and the amplifier. The Amp has 3 cable connectors which goes under the carpet all the way to the front to the head unit(radio). I didnot remove the carpet all the way to the front so. Here are some pics of the amp, 3 cable connectors and exact location for pioneer amplifier who interested to see.

OK, you are doing great and almost there. With the connectors plugged into your amplifier and the radio (and then the CD) playing, find the violet (TMUT= Telephone mute) wire and touch the grounded unpowered test light probe to the pin in the connector that the violet wire leads into. You should be able to slide the test light probe - assuming it has a sharp probe like the one in the photo I posted - right past the wire leading into the plastic connector. Your radio/CD should mute when you ground the TMUT mute pin.
If you can't tell which wire is the violet one, test all the connector pins. That is what the pros do and you aren't going to hurt anything as long as you don't touch two pins at once.
Once you find the TMUT wire at the amplifier, connect your telephone kit mute wire to it using one of the methods I described previously.
It is quite possible that only gen 1 RX vehicles with navigation were prewired for phones and that a Lexus dealer installer had to run additional cables when installing a Lexus phone into RX vehicles without navigation. I've been amazed at the amount of disassembly it sometimes takes to install dealer installed options and accessories into Lexus cars.
