Default Bumper fitment...

Well, I had a sponsorship in the works but it just didnt work out the way we wanted, so I guess I'm getting a custom body kit made. Should be done by our big ClubLexus event here in Norcal late September. In the meantime, I need some ideas. Anybody know if it's possible to fit a Highlander bumper or even an RX330 bumper onto the Rx300? Seen a couple kits for the HL and the 330 but with my luck, they dont make for the Rx300. Maybe I can retrofit without major modification?

go to a toyota dealer and find a highlander smashed from the rear (oh and bring some tools) and ask them if u can take off the front bumper and then take yours off too and match them up.

and if you're going custom, why not try to use your bumper as the base for a mold...i dunno..something will work though

Too bad we don't have the Highlander or RX330 down here as I could measure it up for you (holes, spacing, screws and all). My cousin managed to put gen 4 VW Golf bumpers on his gen 3 Golf and that was a lot of cutting and fitting to do, but he gets plenty of praise for it.

i tried the rx330 before i didn't fit right .. i think the body shop told me that i had to cut the upper part of the rx300 bumper where the holes and step is at and do the same for the rx330 upper part then mold the rx300 top piece to the rx330 bump also cut the line the middle to make the bumper smaller.... damn its making me wanna go to Norcal late September meet just to see your ride lol ... good luck with your project!

you guys remember that New's Harrier in Japan? new-s.co.jp I think was the site. They have a Rx300 and if you look closely it has Rx330 bumpers. I might just end up getting the Platinum Gialla kit if my project is going to run me more than $3500. I do want the wide body look though so
