Wifey keep on losing the gas cap (3rd time). The 99 rx300 gas cap doesn't have a secure string attach on the gas cap, so I'm wondering if the 01 Toyota sequoia gas cap will fit on the rx300 coz the sequoia have a securing string attach to the cap that I can mount to the gas filler door.

I have seen this TRD Fuel Cap Cover on a couple of sites, http://store.yahoo.com/brandsportinc...315-sp000.html

Now they show Highlander and Sequoia so I do not see why it would not. One of my friends down here lost her cap on her Camry and picked up a generic one and it fit.

Yeah that's what I thought, mine has a string and I don't even holster it when I'm fueling it just hangs...

Just bought the one for 01 Highlander comes with the strap for $15+tax @ local toyota dealer.
