My Lexus fixed itself...?
I had purchased an instrument cluster bulb to replace the "D" green light that burned out about 1 month ago... But have not had the time to replace it yet...
Last week I was driving and looked down to find the "D" light lit up again and has stayed on when the car is in drive...
This has gotten me thinking that obviously it wasn't a burned out bulb afterall..
Any ideas what caused this... ie: bad contact, etc...? Has anyone had a burnedout "D" cluster light which eventually came back on again?

When I was test driving 99s and 00s before I bought my 2000, EVERY and I mean every 1999 that I drove had a burned-out "D" light. I just figured that it was supposed to be that way on the 99s. Guess not, huh?
