Quick Question About TPMS
For those that already changed your wheelsets out, did you keep your original stems with sensors or did you "band" them around the wheel? My new wheelset comes with valve stems that I would prefer to use over the OEM ones. Just curious what you fellas did or did you buy new sensors and just have them paired to the car. Thanks!

Everyn single time I do a wheel deal... I pick up a set of new sensors and reprogram through Techstream...
I was never a fan of cracking open my OEM wheels & Tires to extract the original TPMS..
Just my .02 ¢

Which version of the Techstream tool do you use? There are quite a few out there which range significantly in price, starting at about $20.
I ordered aftermarket TPMS sensors and the tire pressure indicator came on after about 20 miles of driving. The pressures themselves never came up on the display though.
FYI - I installed blacked out versions of the Lexus 20 spoke wheels with Lm-32 blizzaks on them.

If you have two sets of wheels and have both programed to your car, can the wheels be switched out different seasons without reprograming? not sure if the TPMS registers to the car or the car registers the TPMS.
