I am going to change the OEM summer tire to all season. I am thinking of upgrade the tire sidewall aspect ratio from current 35 to 40 for the following reasons

1. better ride
2. better against wheel bent (MI roads are terrible in winter w/huge potholes)
3. fills the gap between the wheel and fender

Now comes the big question, would it rub with 1" total height increase for the front and back tires?

My buddy has the same 2012 ISF that I have, and he drives it during the winter with the exception of bad snow storms. He put all season tires on it, and he claims that they do the job.

He did not increase the aspect ratio.
