Default RC-F Engine Specs discreetly unveiled via Gran Turismo 6 (468 HP / 391 ft-lbs)?

There was a recent update released on the PS3 game, Gran Turismo 6, which allows you to race in the Lexus IS-F CCS-R. When you look at the initial specs of the car, the engine specs are as follows (which are from the original IS-F):

Max Power- 417 HP / 6,600 RPM
Max Torque- 372.4 ft-lbs / 5,200 RPM.

There's a well known trick in the Gran Turismo series that allows you to get a few extra horsepower by simply changing the oil prior to starting your first race. When I did this trick on the IS-F CCS-R, I noticed that not only did the HP and Torque rating changed, but the Max RPM changed as well (which does not happen with any other car in the game when you do the same trick). The new specs of the motor after the oil change trick are as follows:

Max Power- 468 HP / 7,200 RPM
Max Torque- 391.3 ft-lbs / 5,200 RPM
.

As we know, Lexus has been testing the new RC-F 5.0L engine in the IS-F CCS-R. The specs shown in Gran Turismo 6 also falls in line with the other rumors of the engine specs that we've been reading about the past few weeks.

Do you think I cracked the Da Vinci Code and unveiled a hidden nugget that Lexus slipped to the developers of the game?

to bad the torque isn't evenly matched to the HP. this would even be more of a beast.

It does not matter. It is physically impossible from a 5.0 Liter displacement naturally aspirated. The best engines with DI make N/A is 80 ft-lbs/liter.

It is a high-revving engine so gearing and overall torque curve across the rev range is far more important for the car to be fast. Not a peak number.
