rcf definately doesn't put the power down well with stock size tire. I can feel spin and see burnout marks in the rear view mirror while WOT in second gear. Starting in first gear, forget it. I leave smokey burnout and fishtail from a stop.

I will probably jump up to 295s on my next tire change.
2nd gear WOT I have no complaints though.
I will also be interested in getting a transmission tune when one is available. But that's a whole different can of worms.

I concede. After extensive road testing I am now in agreement with you. My tires grip decent on great roads with minimal tread wear (i.e. new tires). But on less than great roads, or roads that are dusty the traction in 1st gear is horrible if trying to launch like a 1/4 mile race. I am capable of launching without breaking loose, but it's not at a rate that I am happy with. I feel like I'm gimping the launch...

I'm pretty sure 295 will fit without issue. Edit: 295/30/19
