Transmission Issue (Maybe)
I'm on my second RCF, and I am noticing a problem with the trans that wasn't apparent on the 1st one.
my car is a 2016 Nebula/Red, Carbon w/ TVD, ML Nav/Stereo, Premium, etc... $79k+ list
This issue just started and I have 900 miles on the car.
If the car is put in drive, regardless of mode, when the car is put back in Park, and after removing foot from brake pedal, the shift lever then pops forward, almost like it won't completely lock when i put it there, and then sometimes the car lurches a bit.
This only happens from D to P regardless of incline or load about 60% of the time.
Brought it to dealer and they opened up an investigation, but Lexus engineering said "appears to be within tolerances".
Anyone else experiencing this and any thoughts what it may be?

My 2013 isf did this almost every time and my 2005 is300 does it once in a while. I think I've seen my 2015 rc-F do it once. I highly doubt it is an issue to be honest. I make it a habit that I always use the e-brake also, I put the gear in neutral, engage parking brake, release foot brake, car moves a little, depress foot brake, then shift to park. I think this way, the parking brake takes all the load of keeping the car from moving instead of the transmission in park.

It's because it's a auto tranny, any car is going to do this, park on a hill it will do it all day long you may even get a clunk when you put it in D or R because it's loaded up.
Is the RCF a lot of people's 1st car?

I understand when the car is loaded, this is occurring unloaded as well.
