Lexus Fielding RC F Based GT Racecar to Compete in 2017
Beginning in 2016, Lexus will field a U.S. motorsports team driving a new GT racecar based upon the RC F.

Not a good idea unless they can chop off 300-400 lb, because the RC F is heavy as a Pig compared to its competitors.. That's the only complain that everyone reviewing the RC F has.

Expect to see great things from the RC F used to race in the states. I would expect a 1,000 lb reduction in weight for the racer.
The RC F is a unique machine, and in many regards it performs outside of contemporary thought about how a performance luxury coupe should work. Those of you who really have no familiarity with this great machine need to log serious time before you buy into the editorial BS about weight. An experienced driver in a TVD can execute some amazing roadwork.
The lighter M4 has underperformed many times in comparative tests with the RC F.

Yet it competes head-to-head with the competitors...the weight comment is ridiculous, overstated-- a me-too inclusion by this reviewer.
