Raspy/ticking noise at 2500-4000 rpm
I've noticed lately, that when I do some spirited driving, my rcf is making this weird raspy type ticking noise from around 2500 rpm to 4000 rpm. Anybody have this issue before? It definitely doesn't sound normal...
When I take my car in for body repair next week, I plan on having the dealership change the breaks according to the TSB issued and also checking out this noise.

I've heard the same thing a couple times, when I was getting off the freeway. But the car was warm for me.
I had a similar sound on my 350Z, so I took it into my mechanic and he took a spin with me to hear it. He knew within a couple minutes what the sound was, it was the catalytic converter shields. Possibly the same thing? Just throwing it out there.

Catylitic converter sounds like marbles or rocks rattling around at certain loads or rpms as it gets worse.. Very expensive item, buts very long warranty on it. Have it checked out. Easy to diagnose. I do not have a similar sound so may be worthwhile to have it checked out.

I've noticed the same thing. The best way I can describe my sound is like driving through a deep puddle and a constant "splash" noise. Part of me is embarrassed to actually say that to a Tech but i notice it in the same RPM band that you mentioned and usually before fully warmed.
