Default does the stock exhaust have valves?

Do they open on sport s+?

Any idea?

If they do have valves, anyway we can keep them on all the time?

I don't believe the exhaust has valves ... JoeZ could probably tell us for sure. There is a valve on the intake box which is what you hear open up at higher RPM ... which also affects the exhaust note.

It is the intake box that opens up at 3700 rpm. Only the intake induction sound changes as more noise is piped into the car after 3700 rpm. In Sport+ mode, the active sound control system augments some extra higher pitch frequencies at higher rpm.

For the RC F, in Sport S+ the extra sound your hearing comes from the "Active Sound Control" speaker behind the glove box..

Joe Z, Maybe I missed it but do you have any plans on making an RCF and RC 350 F Sport exhaust? I need REAL sound, not a speaker box!

I don't know about having exhaust valves but ill tell you that when driving on the highway say cruising at about 60 or 70 the sound changes drastically when putting the power button on or off. In general it almost seems the engine or something opens up when PWR is on making it more free flowing. I have Headers and a Borla catback.

Yes makes perfect sense for your modified IS F
