Intrinsics versus German counter parts
I got very few comments comments on Porsche turbos I drove as daily drivers throughout the years despite additions such as Ruf front ends, Misha wings, after market wheels, PSS9s and etc.
Nevertheless, I am not sure if it is the orange color or the new design of the RC F in general, but this car get some serious attention and positive comments. I am a bit surprised how much the RC F stands out and the attention is pretty entertaining for a car that is a comfy daily driver and within reach of a lot of enthusiasts.
The German counter parts blend into the crowd to all but the true enthusiast, which is cool. There is something to be said about a wolf in sheep's clothing to some I suppose. The RCF, however, is a fresh design and something you don't see coming and going on a day to day basis.

I've seen a few of Leh Keen's Porsche's up at Topspeed getting worked on when one I was getting a motor build done. Those Ruf Porsche's are incredible. My GTR would always get attention from people who knew what it was....but my RC F seems to draw more attention from non petrol heads as well as enthusiasts. I get a lot of "looky loos" from it for sure. I bet with your color it takes it to another level. Wish I was able to see one in person.

The black 996tt cab is a Ruf 550 with Ruf nose and Misha tail. The red was my pride and joy and a one off. NA 342 hp at the wheels and 328 torque. Cat bypass, primary bypass with GHL secondary exhaust would set off car alarms in parking garages and it had overrun backfire with small flames at night.
The 2001 black turbo coupe at bottom with 90 Ruf had 750 hp.
I, however, can say without hesitation that the RC F is one of my favorite cars to date and I have driven a few . . .

It seems the Germans are still leaps and bounds ahead of the rc-f in the performance categories. I was surprised that on top gear they didn't even run the rc-f around the track to get a time as Jeremy clarkson said the car was so awful that it would be a waste of time. I have been watching that show for a long time and have never seen them skip a car like that
