I don't think most dealers are going to discount further. They already lost a lot money with 20% discount, now they are just waiting for buyers to pick them up at that price (which they are). According to cars.com, only 281 new rcf are in stock right now with 123 of those 2015s. So the supply dropped significantly compared to last year.

This auction is a dealer auction, where dealers (at least formally those who have a dealership license) can sell and buy cars from other dealers or mfg owned vehicles. Off leases, real exec. driven models, press vehicles, undesirable models, or simply dealers needing to gain back some capital. Usually this is where dealerships set used-car trade in values aka expect theses prices to reflect heavily on what a particular model will bring in at trade in (dealer auction price*a set number which revolves around .5-.9=trade in value) or the lowest a dealer will sell a non-cpo model.

I have access to auctions through several buddies and can bid on them from my computer. You pretty much have to know what you are doing. There is usually a reason new cars with warranties are being run through. There could be damage or repairs (a lot of which never makes Carfax), it could could tires, service and etc. They could have repairs needed, but warranty issues due to modifications or abuse. There are arbitration provisions.
The premo condition cars needing nothing may not be rolling across. That said, there can be great deals. I have been bidding on Porsches and Ferraris lately, but prices on both booking dang near retail on 911s, 360s and 430s. Would love to find some deals to sit on and flip for profit, but those cars are hot right now provided they are not high mileage basket cases.
Something like an RC F, it would be very difficult to even attempt to gauge market value from action prices of that few cars, very difficult unless you can examine the condition and circumstances of each car.

I contacted a Socal dealer and was wondering if someone can give me an opinion on the deal.
Car Price - $59.4k
10,000 miles 36 months
$6000 down
Price - $699 per month
I feel like the monthly could be lower.

Should be around 3-4k for drive off fees.
Did you ask them to break it down and ask why it's that high?
My guess would be MSD's or prepaid taxes for the 36 months.
And yes, the monthly should be lower with an MSRP that low.
Residual's are in the 40 percentile?
What's the MF at, .0024?

I went to the dealer a few weeks ago and the rates were 52% RV 36/12k with a 0.0019 MF. They told me base MF but I'm not sure I believe them...if those numbers are accurate though then leasing an RCF is a terrible idea, even with MSDs. Better off getting a huge discount and financing at a low rate. Unfortunately, it looks like I'm gonna have to leave Lexus for the ATSV, M3, C7 Z51, or Cayman S.

Just a heads up though a lot of dealers who still are reporting 2015s in stock have 0 miles on cars.com, but when you inquire with them, it becomes "3,500 demo miles, untitled, so no larger discount then the ones available" line lol.
