Lexus RC300 vs. RC350
Hi Guys,
So my lease for the Mercedes is ending soon and I was thinking of replacing it with an RC. Now I have noticed that there are two models available (RC300 and RC350). Does anyone own the RC300 and would they be able to share their experience with me? I also checked the specs for both cars and both the models create 255 and 307 hp respectively. Would you say the 350 is worth the $10k premium for a 52hp increase? Is there anything I should be aware about that differs between the two models?
Thanks!

Coming from a CLA250 are you looking for more power? If so those two models will not satisfy your needs, instead jump to the F model. If not, why spend the extra 10k for some measly power difference.

Well I have another car for my power needs :P I really just need a car that is a little fun that I can drive everyday without an issue.

But it does cost more. You have to work within your budget. For me... RC F all day long.

I drive a Rc300, coming from an IS-F I definitely miss the power.
Overall the car is great, would I do it again probably not, go for the RCF next time.
RC 300 is a great car, nice gadgets, great fuel economy ,decent power.

There is also a RC200T model available with a 4 cylinder turbo engine.
I think if you are looking for more power, the only obvious choice is the RCF. But the RCF will cost you a premium at the point of acquisition and then forever as long you keep operating it.
But if you don't mind the reduced power and still want the good looks, then the RC200T will be a good fit. Save some dough and still looks good in it. 😀☺😊😁😃 Can't beat that!!!👍👍👍👍

I have a 2 year lease on mine and looking forward to giving it back in June. I feel like I'm driving a caddy as the ride is quite numbing even in Sport + mode. Also getting a bit tired of the look.
Best of luck with your choice!

Awd....
I had a couple of "deal breakers" when I was looking for my RC 350.
I did not want AWD. That was one of the deal breakers. I also wanted the Luxury Package.
As far as I know, the 300 comes standard with AWD. If that is something you want (make sure), then this is a viable option for you. The HP on my RC 350 is more than enough. I also drive it daily. But I put less than 10k miles on it yearly. Not because I'm trying not to limit the miles, it's just because I have a shorter commute to work.
Enjoy!
