Default Lowered RC F sport question

So, I've had RSR springs on my car from day 1, and i'm at 16k miles. I've noticed my car seems unsettled driving over certain patches of road. I am beginning to wonder if the shocks are prematurely dead and allowing the wheels to skip across uneven asphalt due to the drop. Has anyone else experienced this that has had their cars lowered?

Has anyone gone with aftermarket shocks???

Lowering springs usually increase the stress on stock shocks and eventually they do fail and need to be replaced but 16k seems kind of early. When I bought my lowering springs, I chose the tanabe springs because they had very close to OEM spring rate specifications and the drop was modest...im not sure about the RSR's but from pics it looks slightly more aggressive.

I put mine on when I had about 100 miles on the car and now have about 8K on them and the ride quality feels identical to stock. Hope this helps.
