Dome/Interior Lights
As someone who has had every IS...now the RC, am I crazy...or does the dome light and interior light stay lit in the car...luminescent kind of thing. I just do not recall anything like it. although my new car does email me when I forget to lock my doors, so who knows.
Any reason for this, way to change it?
Thanks.

You can determine how long the interior lights stay on after you shut off the car through the vehicle settings. Now if they are staying on all the time it could be that you touched the center light in the overhead. This would turn on not only the one above your head but the one in the back also. If you did then that over rules the settings in the car. Is this what you are talking about?

The large light in the front center of the car and the light above the back seat are on the same circuit; they have no conventional switch, but the lens surface is a touch-sensitive toggle switch. The smaller reading lights in the front turn on and off in the same way. It is easy to brush these lens surfaces without knowing it, and during the day it can often be hard to tell if the light is on or off. As noted above, if turned on, it will not go off quickly (about 30-60 seconds) after exiting the vehicle and locking it. All lights like this, however, will go off after about 10 minutes of ignition off inactivity. For example, I was doing some things in the trunk, and that light eventually turned itself off, which is surely to prevent the battery from running down. So, if you turned the "dome" light on, it will stay on for quite a while, but will eventually go off. Whether it reverts to off or on when re-starting the car is something you will have to report to us after you check it out.
