Two questions:

Who supplies the pictures that show up on the screen while you are listening to Sirius?

Did you ever notice that the pictures do not necessarily match the singer/song?

I didn't have that feature when I owned my GS F Sport, but I did have it when listening to an iPod. It was fed through a program called Gracenote.

Sometimes the pics that came up were not of the actual artist, but maybe an album they were included on? If it is a compilation that included that artist's song, it may show the album art instead. Does that make sense?

I believe it's Grace Note.
The generic pictures are genre oriented.

I think it's Gracenote too. I listen to a 64gig USB stick. I selected the cover art from the menu and I still get some pictures from Gracenote....which I find a little irritating

You can also change the priority of the album art menu, between usb and gracenote, in "audio setting" screen.

I've noticed this while listening to apple music to....some of the generic photos are quite annoying.
