Sometimes I wish I had gotten an RC! nice cars. Though probably the 350 as the 200t is too heavy.

your is200t is about 180 pounds less than the rc350. What you are feeling is the weak 2.0t engine, no offense.
In reality, the rc350 is no that quick either as it weighs a lot with an outdated engine and hp.
Maybe step up to the Rcf. No disappointment there haha

Something is amiss here. $50,267-$48,346=$1,921 for TTL, that seems awfully low especially in CA where the sales tax is roughly 7.5% (that's where your signature says you are)

On the flip side, if the rebate isn't included in the amount off to equal your Selling Price, then $4421 seems awfully high for TTL.

Did you trade something in with a lot of residual value (about $20k) that got you a deep discount in taxes? (if CA gives tax-exemption on trade-ins)

I'm assuming you did and realized $5,372 off (of which $2,500 was rebate). That's somewhere between $5k to $6k off and, as I posted, a good deal! Hopefully you took it before the Golden Opportunity Offer expired over Labor Day Weekend. It no longer applies to the RC 350 or RC 200t. If it was an RC 300 you wanted, however, hopefully you waited! The new offer only applies to the RC 300, but now it is up to $3,000 Cash Back! (now through 10/03/2016)

P.S. After two months of driving a RC 300, I don't regret not waiting for the extra $500 drop... who knew, anyway!

Does that mean you got $7,872 off?! Was that an RC 350? What are the car specs? Color combo? Military discount? You said, "offer" - did you buy it? I sure hope you did because you may have just gotten the best deal on an RC in the country (or, at least, the best one posted on the internet anyway)! Good job.

It was from lexus of mission viejo. They do pure pricing, no haggle deals. The golden opportunity event probably made this deal one of the best deals out there. The car was White with Red interior fully loaded. No grad or military discount. Ultimately, I realized I needed a 4 door sedan so I didn't get the RC. I'm just wating for the 17is now....

Howdy ya'll....

My 2015 IS 350 fsport lease is about to expire and I'm considering leasing a 2016 RC 350 fsport. Anyone working end of the year lease deal? I talked with a salesperson today at Lexus of Lakeway (Texas), I'm scratching my head at the high monthly payment and the vague quote. The residual seems high and I'm not sure what the money factor is. I was expecting to receive a quote in the mid $500's.

What's killing you on that deal is the term. Bump it to 36 months and you'll spread depreciation out across 12 more months, knocking that payment way down. 36-39 months is the sweet spot for most leases.

Agreed. You can always trade it in in 2 yrs and redo a new lease.

Sometime timing is everything. I was getting ready to purchase a used 2015 RC 350 Fsport with 11K miles for 38K. The lexus dealer in Van Nuys California called me about some big rebates. They have over 20 RC 350 and depending on the options you can get up to 12K off of Window Sticker. If you are in the market for a RC go see Edwin at Keys Lexus in Van Nuys and he will hook you up. I never heard of a discount like this on new left over cars. The window sticker on my car was 53 and change and I got the car less Tax and License for 40,950.

nice pickup! Leftover cars are easily discounted 20-25%. Think of it as depreciation first year

I HIGHLY recommend avoiding this dealer. Over twelve years of shady business practices has made them well known as old-school, sly, scammers. There are better choices out there.
