transimission slipping
I have had my car for about 4 months. Yesterday Pulling out of a parking lot heard some noise with my car. I cut the car off then on again it jerked. The noise was a grinding sound. Then off and on again it drove. Then repeated the noise. So I cut the car off and on again and was able to drive completely home no gear change. Can anyone explain this? The model is manual and automatic i drove in automatic so I believe. Could this be a transmission problem?

had car towed about a week or so ago come to find out something in the transmission was going bad. $7200 for a new transmission. Used will be $4200. The warranty company sending a used transmission but will only cover for another 5,000 miles when warranty expires. I am definitely getting rid of this car.
